Guide to Ordering and Activating
Hermetic Systems Software

The method whereby Hermetic Systems receives orders for its software, delivers the software and provides the user with a fully-functional program is entirely electronic; no physical object is shipped.

In return for a small financial consideration we provide you with a license to use the software. Since this is useless without a copy of the software, we also provide you with the means to download it, initially in the form or a trial or demo version, which is limited in some way, either by time or by functionality. After purchase of a user license the trial or demo version can be made permanently fully-functional. This is done by means of an activation key which is sent by email.

If a user license is purchased via Kagi then the purchase must first be registered in our online database before you can get the activation key (this usually means a wait of between 30 minutes and 12 hours).

It is possible (and quicker and easier) to get the activation key immediately after purchase provided that (a) you download the trial or demo version to the PC on which you will be using the software and (b) you purchase a license via PayPal (click on that link for further information).

Note to Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Vista users:

If the software allows a trial period but is run first from a user account you will be informed that it must be run at least once via an admin account. Similarly if you try to activate the software from a user account then you will be informed that this must be done from an admin account. Of course, if you always use an admin account then you can ignore all this; it is only for people who wish to, or have to, run the software from a user account.
