Hermetic Stego will hide any type of file in BMP files, including image files. This page gives an example of this.
Suppose you wish to hide the following JPG image, which is 42,751 bytes in size:
This can be hidden in seven BMP images:

These images are contained in the file 7_stego_images.zip (click on the link to download this file; 483,153 bytes). The JPG image can be extracted from these using the trial version of the software (do not specify a stego key, use the default key).
