Data Destroyer A program for secure file deletion and disk wipe which destroys (or purges, by overwriting many times) data in multiple files and multiple folders on floppy, ZIP drive, hard disk or memory stick so that the data cannot be recovered. Single-file or batch-mode operation. User-specifiable purge type. Estimates of purge time given.

Hermetic File Monitor For detecting changes to files in a folder, and for detecting additions or deletions of files in a folder. Multiple folders can be set up to be monitored. Optionally files in all subfolders of a folder can also be monitored.

Cryptosystem ME6 A program for the encryption and decryption of single or multiple files for secure storage or transmission. It uses a symmetric key encryption method with a 500-bit key for security, and has numerous safeguards against user error.

Data Destroyer Disk Wipe A hard drive cleaner which overwrites many times data in the free space on a disk and in all files and folders (except selected top-level files and folders) so that the data cannot be recovered. The type of purge is specifiable, and the program provides an estimate of the time needed for the disk wipe.
Most of these programs (all written for Windows PCs but they can also be run on Macs with a Windows XP emulator) can be downloaded as trial or demo versions, which can be converted to fully-functional after purchase of a user license.
